Coaching is a two-way process and a coach needs to know what their 'learner' is doing if they are going to be able to offer meaningful help, so it's really important to be honest about what you are actually doing (or not doing!), rather than just saying what you think the coach wants to hear!
None of us finds it easy to admit to not doing what we said we were going to do, but it's good to learn to do so, because it makes it possible to move forward, instead of just staying stuck with 'old' habits that do nothing for our health and wellbeing.
