Your health & wellbeing journey: join virtual workshops and get support from others like you and from a Dietitian and a Health & Wellbeing Coach ... 

What is my health & wellbeing journey about?

​On your health & wellbeing journey you'll do a one-hour virtual workshop (on Zoom) with up to 9 other people every week for 12 weeks.  This is the weight-loss part of your journey - people usually lose most pounds in the first months of starting a weight loss plan.

​This is the part where you learn lots of things about how to lose weight in a way that's actually doable and fun ... and, really importantly, you learn how to eat well and start to get more active in your week.
​
​The next part of your journey will be about supporting you in keeping the weight off!  And, of course, you get to practise all those new healthy habits you started in the weight-loss part of the journey.

... And who knows, you may even be one of those people who keeps losing weight and ends up being the biggest loser in the group - we'd like to give you a prize if you are!

The Dietitian and Health & Wellbeing Coach will be steering you on your journey and giving you all the support, information and advice that you need. 

​You can text them or e-mail them with any questions you have along the way - they'll be more than happy to help you.

​Something else really important to remember ... it's good to talk (it really is!) to others on the same journey as you ...

Join one of the WhatsApp group chats
with up to 10 people 
who, like you, are perhaps a little anxious, but excited, about this journey.

​ "... What will others in the group think of me?"

    "... Can I keep this up for 6 months?"

   "... What if I put on some of the weight I've lost?"

​Chat about how your journey is going
 
(or sometimes not going - yes, there will be some bumps in the road ahead!), share recipes you have discovered (or ones you've made up yourself), share with others what you have found useful along the way.  Anything goes, really - it's your journey, so enjoy it and try not to focus just on your destination ... have fun talking to others and supporting them, as they will also be supporting you ... everyone benefits.

We really look forward to hearing how you get on - oh yes, and please remember that it's not just about losing weight!

Eating better ... sleeping better ... having better mood ... and having more energy are all big wins when it comes to looking after our health and wellbeing.  If you can tick the box for a few of these by the end of your 6-month journey, you'll be a big winner - and pehaps the biggest loser, which will be a win-win!

You will be given a copy of the My Health & Wellbeing Journey journal. It will guide you in assessing the quality of your diet and level of physical activity you do, as well as showing you how to set goals and monitor your progress. 

And you'll be encouraged to write down stuff in
My Health & Wellbeing Journey to help you to better understand you and to come up with practical solutions to the challenges you'll face ...
